Movies you had wished you had seen at the cinema

I used to have loaRAB on this list, but thanks to having had my film lectures in a cinema I can cross a lot off them off, including 'Goodfellas', 'L.A. Confidential', 'Jaws, 'Psycho', 'A Fistfull Of Dollars', 'The BirRAB', 'Clerks' and particularly 'Alien', which looked amazing on the big-screen!

I'd still love to see Hitchcock's 'The Lady Vanishes' and 'Bladerunner' though.

I've always wondered why cinemas don't show some of the older films on the big screen again. I'm not aware of the costs that would be involved but I'm sure for the more popular films there would be a lot of interest.

Jurrasic Park was fantastic on the big screen and the cinema was just packed as you would expect that summer, not that it isnt cool on tv or anything.

Independence Day was a big screen movie in itself for sure, real modern epic feel.On tv it is not a classic, although a fun movie.

 What the hell! Has no one put down Jurrasic Park, that would be so good, it's a shame us yougsters (20) missed out on an oppertunity to see this film on the big screen. But i've heard it was great at the time, especially since that was when big, s/fx came into a new level.

Luckily I saw all of the Star Wars movies 1 - 6

What else is there....?

Yeh Jaws would've been awesome too. Infact, most of Speilberg's movies lol

Edward SccissorhanRAB along with Tim Burton's Batman.

Goldfinger

It was showing at my local cinema for a measley 99p.

I thought against watching it because I thought it would have been normal cinema price. When I found out it was 99p I wanted to cry :(

I know I saw Jurassic Park at the cinema, and I am sure I saw Independence Day too. Back To The Future 2 was good on the big screen also

Even films like The Station Agent and The Constant Gardener looked good on the big screen

I rarely go to the cinema nowadays and I never tended to go a lot anyway, so there aren't many films I've seen on a big screen

When I went I had a one of those massive drinks.....2 and a half hours later and all that water....

Well I can only say I was glad when Leo sunk and I could get to the loo..

Films that I really wished I had the chance to watch on big screen would be

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Exorcist
Jaws
Carrie
Friday 13th
A Nightmare On Elm Street

I think it must be for the scenes that make you jump and the suspense

Back to the Future trilogy
Titanic

I saw Pearl Harbour at the cinema and it was so much better than at home so that's why Titanic would be a one to see.

I saw all three Back to the Future films and Titanic at the cinema. :D

I would love to have seen Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Poltergeist on the big-screen when they originally came out.

Oh, Aliens and The Monster Squad too. It's my favourite cult film. At the time I thought it looked like a lame Goonies rip-off, so therefore never bothered seeing it (damn!). The first time I did end up seeing it was a year later. A friend had rented it out and assured me that regardless of what I thought of it, I would love it. So, I took the plunge and watched it with them, and naturally thought it was great. I was six when Aliens first came out, so I simply wasn't old enough to see it, unfortunately. Aliens is my second favourite film behind Poltergeist.

Star Wars is my biggest regret - OK I was only 3 at the time it came out but I'd have loved to have seen that opening scene without knowing what was coming up and without knowing what the story is.

I reckon that must have been a huge moment for those who did watch it way back then.

even though i dont like titanic, i would have ben good to see at the cinima. The closest i came to see it was when i was at euro disney, thiers a cinima type ride, and theres a clip of the ship, it looks really good on the big screen.
