Movies that turn your stomach....

There was a scene in Casino were two characters (brothers) were beaten severely before being buried alive. Again, it's one of those films were you should really expect the graphic violence but this really turned my stomach and I desperately wanted to leave the cinema. Serves my own right for going to see an 18!

I made the mistake of turning on to the Zone Horror channel last night and catching "I Spit on Your Grave". Never before have I ever felt so uncomfortable watching a film. The rape scenes at the beginning are shocking.QUOTE]

Good job you watched a heavily cut British telly version then.

I think the only film that's made me feel uncomfortable is Irreversible - the whole subject matter & its portrayal, along with the deliberate "shakey cam" filming, makes it all rather disturbing.

No film turns my stomach, reason being is I know its all make-up and effects. Sadly for me I lost the appeal for horror films a long time ago and I just find them mediocre to say the least. Its probably why I am a big fan of the Evil Dead films, they don't really take themselves seriously.

I agree that film sticks in my mind with texas chain saw films, but i dont like blood splattered films give me the grudge one american or japan version any time:rolleyes:

i have a really strong stomach usually, but some reason the scene from "shallow grave" where the guy puts the drill into ewan mcgregors skull made me a bit green!

My Little Eye was dreadful for me. There was way too much unnecessary and gratuitous violence in it for me, particularly the end scences.

I really have no problem with gore and violence (in terms of flinching or squeamish) but the skull scene in Saw 3 made me bawlk. Horrible scene!
