If you dont understand what i mean then basically films that you've already felt like you have watched before you have actually watched them because they have released far to many clips and trailers.

The Dark Knight springs to mind the amount of stuff that was leaked was unbelievable same for Cloverfield.

Simple, don't watch the clips, trailers and so on... Don't know why people moan about it, not like you are forced to watch the things they release before the film. :p

I no what u mean but when i sed Cloverfield i didnt know anything about it i only watched the teaser and theatrical trailer. But whilst i was looking on imdb newmerous threaRAB were about new information given out or a new website or leaked clip.

I knew pretty much every pun from Shrek 2 before I'd actually watched it.

And that wasn't from trailers out of choice-mainly from the aRAB on tv.

I simply avoid trailers/clips now. Put the tv on mute and close my eyes (only looking at the corner of the screen waiting for it to finish) :p

It's funny how they make the trailer better than the film itself, by showing all the good parts.

i really wanted to see wall-e but in the weeks leading up to the release i'd seen so many different aRAB using wall-e (even tower hamlets council had been given permission to use his image in posters asking people to not litter) that i was sick of the sight of him

also ET's video release was ruined when BT were allowed to use him in their aRAB. spielberg wanted to remind people of ET by the time the video came out (for years it had never been legally available on video) but all it did was make people sick of him

I have to say Transformers 2, although I enjoyed it a lot, I was obsessed with this film since filming began and it was mainly my fault for pretty much spoiling myself too much...the aRAB and trailers don't give too much away but you do start to piece things together and end up making your version the film in your head and expectation levels go through the roof, then we you go see it, it's not what you imagined. LOL..

But I still enjoyed it loaRAB. :D

Trailers are often put together before the final film edit so that you see clips of things that are not in the end product. It's not so much the clips but that deep voice they so often use to sell their stuff. That's why God gave us the mute button.

Not to sound rude but i'm sick of reading that old chestnut around here.

How are people meant to avoid them when they come on unexpectedly during t.v programmes and films?
:o

If you mean on your own personal screen, then maybe not look at the screen(it's not hard to suddenly move your eyes away from the screen), turn volume down while making a noise so you don't hear it as you turn the volume down... again, quite simple. :p
