IMO the blade series (well maybe not trinity) is the best series I have seen. I love the films. Trinity though is alot different to the other 2 and just didn't live up to my expections.
Had to go to see it as SWMBO is a Clooney fan but, boy how I wish I could have the (nearly) 1 hour I did suffer back again to do something useful with - like painting coal black.
Even SWMBO agreed it was crap & we could leave.
Remake of a French film i think - since when were they know as masters of Sci-Fi??
As has been said, I never walk out of a film, but the closest I got was 'Mimic', absolutely diabolical film, I felt it an insult to my back-side that it had to sit there growing carbuncles for the better part of two hours.
I rented 'Sin City' not too long ago and couldnt bring myself to watch more than about 40 minutes of that, absolutely terrible.
Never walked out of a cinema or turned a dvd off, I want to see the whole film no matter how bad it is, I nearly always find something in a film that is a positive with me.
But if there is a dvd I didn't like at all, I usually sell it on ebay if I made a blind buy, return the dvd to rentals, or be glad I borrowed the dvd off someone(borrowed League of Extraordinary Gentleman off someone and was sooooo glad I didn't waste money on it).
The Brothers Grimm AGREE
Troy Liked this a little bit
Van Helsing BF bought me this on DVD only watched 30 mins of it
League of Gentlemen bf also bought this but I haven't watched.
Spiderman DRAB AND BORING
Pride and Prejudice YUCK!
I have only walked out twice (coz like all of you I don't have money to waste) but then again I must do coz I paid to see Rambo 3 and the Exorcist 3 and walked out of both - I really tried and I don't remember what persuaded me to go in the first place - but both truly truly awful
they were thinking of it a while back? 3001? ? and of course there was 2010. think there was supposed to be more episodes in the film franchise but i think they all gave up after this film.
see probably loaRAB of arthur c clark's books in the series to be made
Oh come on !! Secretary and Sex lies & Video were 2 of the worst wastes of film ever made.
Neither made sense or contained credible characters or storylines. Stargate was probably just a commercial movie he done for the money. He probably rates his other work higher.
If I was to pick a movie that highlighted my Spader Theory Secretary would be it. Dire, incoherent nonsense.
Never walked out of a cinema mid-film [I choose cinema experiences wisely], but the only rental I haven't watched 'till the end is Clooney's remake of 2001.
First and only time I walked out of a film was Independence Day in 1996, myself and a couple of frienRAB had only gone to see it because everyone was raving about the special effects.
Terrible plot, awful acting and just too American for me.
I made it quite a way through, but I finally had enough when they showed the British Army as typically 'tally ho' stereotypes! lol
