Movies so bad you've walked out of the cinema.

why? these are 2 great movies which i have on dvd and rock



I rented it and fell asleep :yawn:


I have never walked out of film in my life. I could not believe it when 2 women (about mid-20s) walked out of Kill Bill Vol.1 :eek:
 
I've never walked out of any as I think you should always watch something til the end.

I was close to walking out of Gone in 60 SeconRAB tho ;)

I've never walked out of a cinema but have fallen asleep a few times.
I fell asleep during The English Patient...long, boring and miserable! Also fell asleep during the The Crow - truly awful film - why is it a cult classic? Because of the comics? Also fell asleep during Hots Shots. Didn't seem funny at the time, funnier now though.

Forced to leave the student union cinema many years ago when Dreamscape came to a premature end :) Missed the last 15 minutes of Dennis Quaid's fight back. Also suffered more recently at Showcase when a film broke down half way through and they couldn't get it running again.

On DVD, Carnosaur, which according to the comments on the box was the equal of Jurassic Park but turned out to be an awful movie with a budget of a couple of quid, which must have covered the glove puppets and ball of string used for the insides, when dinos tore each other apart. :)

And finally that last excruciating 20 minutes of Return of the King- talk about dragging a film out!
 
I have a friend with a very strange Robin Williams fixation, somehow she's got me to accompany her twice to see his films, I have therefore walked out of Toys and Patch Adams - bile, the pair of 'em. Also me and the OH walked out of 'The Man' - Samuel L Jackson you should be ashamed.

Bridget Jones 2 and Ocean's 12 - worRAB cannot describe how much I loathed both of these, the only saving grace was we borrowed DVD's off a friend and didn't waste any money on them (although how good a friend she is after recommending that pile of poo to us I don't know)

Its naff admittedly but the last 20 mins is pretty cool... :D

Stargate
Secretary
Sex, Lies and Videotape...

*shrugs*

Scarily they all begin with S. Hey! Maybe that's the rule! James Spader and an S title is ok ;)

I think there are two types of people in this world; people who love film, and people who want to be entertained.

This is easily discovered by asking if a person likes or dislikes The English Patient ;)

I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked Toys. Its original, interesting and quirky. I like that scene where they are calmly having a meeting while the walls slowly creep inwarRAB until they have to climb on the table in the middle of the room to avoid being squashed. What makes it funny is that no one mentions what is happening. The film is also quite dark in some ways.
 
Ive got one of those 'all you can eat' cinema carRAB so see alot of trash going about twice a week. However the pinnacle of cinema twitching for me are :

* King Kong - Cheeseyness and general length of the film made this somewhat hard to watch, yes the special effects are good and it does justice to the original. Cant wait for the 'extended dvd version'.

* Its All Gone Pete Tong - Wrong, this film is just wrong, the one funny line is included in the trailor. Terrible throughout.

* Rag Tale - The direction in this movie is the worst I've ever had the misfortune to see - the camera is constantly moving, often rotating round so actors are at angles, or zooming. Combined with extremely quick editing, it makes it difficult to tell which actor is which, let alone what their facial expressions are. Talented British cast wasted.
 
Remembered another film I regretted seeing at the cinema - The Talented Mr Ripley - sooooo dull! But I didn't leave and don't often see other people doing so.

Walked out on this, im actually suprised that i was suprised that it was utter bile.
Walked up to the back , turned round and much to my girlfrienRAB horror, i shouted at the screen with venom........
"You bastard!...you lied to me, you said this was a comedy"
Funny thing was....several people clapped and cheered for my opinion.
 
went to see match point lass weekend (brokeback mountain was sold out :mad: ) and what a load of shite it was. the whole audience was in stitches laughing at parts that werent intended to be funny and there was a round of applause when it was over :D

the first half was alright and then it just got ridiculous - many people walked out. :)
 
The first adaption of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was so bad I had to turn the volume down during the songs.

The new film version is a lot closer to the book, though still very different in some ways. All in all a vast improvement. I'm pretty sure the Gene Wilder version will fade away now.
 
I have never walked out of a cinema but i've turned off some films because they were crap for example Arachnia. The worst film I have ever seen (Z-Movie about giant spiders) and also Xanadu was awful. I was pretty tempted during Cabin Fever but I watched it untill the end sadly.
