This is bugging me and i wanted to know if it is bugging anyone else?. On this website www.imdb.com there a loaRAB of films that are missing like 1-2 stars to get the 10/10 stars in the rating system, and i always wanted to know what is missing just to get that extra star to get a total 10/10 stars? for example, The Godfather is supposed to be number 1 movie on there website it is like 9.1/10 so i wonder what is missing to get the 1 more star? does anyone know?.

Here is a list of movies rated 10/10 from this year 2006 but i find it to be a joke because no one talks about most of these films and most of them are short movies http://www.imdb.com/List

You'll never get a 10/10 rating because it's based on a convoluted calculation centred around averages. If you do see a 10/10 then it usually means normal people haven't seen the film and therefore people associated with the film are voting.

To give you an idea, anything over 6/10 is a good film, 7 very good, 8 amazing and so on. The more votes attached to the rating the more credible - normally.
