Movie Title?

Ok, now i have this movie in my head, but i carnt remember the name, and what i can remember of it just sounRAB crazy, but im sure it wasent a dream. Anyway, its set on another planet, redish in a desert, with this highly advanced aliens, and there is this big alien at the end and it looks like a big brain lol, it lives in a large cave and they drag it out and theres this guy who can read minRAB, and he puts his hand on it and then says its scared, and that is all i remember, have anyidea what it is called?
 
2 things that stand out from that movie when i first saw it.

1 - The sheer amount of bugs attacking the base near the end, all scramling over each other to get to the 'troopers' - a jaw dropping moment.

2 - Denise RicharRAB - also a jaw dropping moment
 
Starship Troopers is amazing! I was forced to watch it with a raging hangover one morning at my ex's with all his mates and assumed it would just be another alien-action-boy movie. How wrong! It's really good. The creature thingies are just so gruesome and frightening. He's got it everything just right and it's classic stuff; audiences will still be raving about it in years. I really admire Verhoeven.

anybody seen the sequel ? i didnt want to watch it cos its got none of the origional cast in it and thought it may ruin the greatness on the first
 
The sequel was a straight-to-dvd cheap cash in with none of the original cast. No I havent seen it, I refuse to pay money for stuff like this - it will only encourage them!
