Movie Stars that seem to have gone MISSING

Arnie popped up for a cameo in Terminator Salvation.

Last i saw of Bob, he was in a music video for a god awful song i thankfully can't remember the name of. He was also in Doomsday back in 2008, but again that was terrible so probably best forgotten.

The last thing i remember Hayden in was Jumper. Although i've now read that they're making Jumper 2, so i'm sure we'll see his very wooden acting back on screen sometime soon.

Hardly. She starred in two movies last year named New in town and Monsters Vs Aliens. Plus starred in Case 39 released this year.

she was bonking Kevin Costner in Revenge..good film that..also she was at it in Unlawful Entry with Kurt Russell..another good un..lol..She does the same things in all her films :D

Keira knightley seems to have been a bit quiet since The Duchess came out two years ago. But then again, she has been doing stage work and has about 2 or so movies out this year.

whatever happened to keanu reeves? I just caught up with the Private Lives of Pippa Lee and he turned up in a supporting role in that. very good actually by Keanu standarRAB. I think the last high profile role he had was in that dodgy remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still. I don't think he's been around since.

Rene Russo.

She was great in Get Shorty, and was also in The Thomas Crown Affair, Tin Cup and many others in the 1990s. According to IMDB, she did a few minor things in early 2000 and then had a long break. Apparently she'll be back next year in Thor.

Roger Rabbit - one film and he disappeared.

Jessica Rabbit - with legs like that I thought she'd become a major star.

:D

Bob Hoskins - don't see much of him on the big screen these days.

Brent Spiner - Data from Star Trek. He was very funny in Independence Day but he never become a bigger film star.

Jeff Goldblum - he was a big film actor in the 1990s but recently gone to tv acting. Guess the film offers weren't there.

Michael Douglas. Aside from Wall Street 2 coming out this year, his career hasn't been that high profile for years. I can't think of the last big film he was in.

Harrison Ford - sort of gone into decline apart from Indiana Jones 4 (but let's not mention that as it wasn't that great: Nuke the Fridge!). ;)

Kevin Costner. Still making films but I can't remember the last one that was a moderate hit or remotely medium to high profile.

I guess age is a big factor. Once actors hit a certain age, leading roles will be offered to younger actors. If you've been a big star and then you're offered supporting parts it might hurt the ego. :D I think this may explain why some film actors do tv. Better roles for older actors, perhaps?

There's also the opposite sort of thing where an actor hasn't disappeared but can only get work doing the same thing. Sylvester Stallone comes to mind. He's trapped making Rambo 100 and Rocky 345 and similar action films. It's like he's trapped in the 1980s even though he's getting to be an OAP! :D
