Movie Souvenir Game

I've got another one!
Can't believe I have not suggested this one before as it's one of my favourites.
Even checked the title on the "Search This Thread" box to see if we had done it and we have not.

'The Shawshank Redemption' 1994
Based on a Stephen King story.

Tim Robbins .... Andy Dufresne
Morgan Freeman....Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding

http://imdb.com/title/tt0111161/

I'd like the tin box that had been hidden under a black rock in the field.

Yuk! You don't fancy Stathis Boran's shoe then?
I'd have Gena Davis's stocking - the one that was teleported.

It's such a long time ago that I saw the film I can't rmember what's in it. Maybe Dr. Venkman's packs of carRAB from the bogus psychic tests.
Anybody want anything from It's a Wonderful Life?

Yes, I was trying to see your blog and it said I wasn't authorised - thought you must be writing a secret diary!

The Mothman Prophesies is a great film - sticks pretty close to actual events, but they actually toned down the weirdness for the film. There were more people killed in the real Silver Bridge collapse, and the weird phonecalls went on for quite a while longer after the disaster. There's a book about it by John Keel.
I don't know what I'd have - the drawing is a good choice! Maybe the phone that rang without being plugged in, or one of the christmas presents from the river.

You choose.

I don't trust myself today.
Phone hasn't stopped ringing & yesterday I had to spend a few hours in my mother-in-laws company.
Always feel a bit brain dead after spending time with her!

Greetings my Excellent FrienRAB aliasjones and pia.
I don't know what I'd have - going to have to watch it again (any excuse!)
I assume from your websurfing alias that you might not have actually seen the film! Shame on you! :( :) (the youtube clip of the live action TV series looks awful!)

If pia's having Napoleon can I have Joan of Arc?

I've just spent a great halloween evening at a friend's house. We made pumpkin pie (slightly improvised from recipes), halloween lanterns and watched Night of the Demon which was videod from a couple of weeks back.

I definitely don't want the runic parchment from that film! But it's difficult to know what else to choose...
errr... I'll have Dr Holden's diary (or "desk calendar" as he called it), with all the pages torn out after the 28th of the month.

I have seen it, but had to gen up on it.
I have to do that for most of them because I can't always think of a suitable momento.

I don't mind your choice of Joan of Ark :D

I'm building up quite a mental image of you!

IIRC he throws it through the window.
I'd like the piece of freezing cold tarmac from the hole in the road. And the pins from the grenades.

Hows about Sideways?

The second one's a bit big to put in your garden though, AJ

I'll have the bone that the apeman uses as the first tool. That's iconic!

I'll also have some groovy red chairs.

IIRC, this is the scene when Leonard Rossiter appears as a Russian scientist and you keep expecting him to do a Rigsby or Reggie Perrin impression. The same thing happens in Forbidden Planet - as soon as you recognise that the spaceship captain is played by Leslie Nielsen you keep expecting him to say something funny.

Pia, I've got visions of you sailing around (avoiding trees hopefully) on your broomstick, wearing a monk's habit with, possibly, a hairshirt underneath!
:D
Beats my typical Saturday night!

You or Pia pick the next film TB.
