My souvenir would be one of the old fashioned microphones. Chaplin broke his silent rule for the speech at the end.
Have you seen the Richard Attenborough film Chaplin? Well worth a watch and fills in a lot of background if you like CC films.

I've never read any of the P.K.D. books but what other films have been made from them?
Ridley Scott was known for Alien when Bladerunner came out. I remember a lot of people not understanding the film at all when it was released.
As a souvenir I'd have the replicant snake that gives the first clue.
Have to say that Zatoichi is very violent in that "Japanese obsession with sworRAB way", but also very understated in that "Japanese watch it unfold and don't ask questions way". It has gone into my top ten which is a rare occurrence.
So who is going to choose the next film?
