Movie Souvenir Game

Curse of the Demon was the US title of Night of the Demon, which was indeed based on the book Casting the Runes.
There's a children's Halloween party in it, during which the magician summonses a wind storm and all the kiRAB go screaming and running indoors. It's set in the 1950s (I think).

Pia!
Wondered where you were. Hope your cold is better.

Must confess, never liked 'The Wizard of Oz' film.
Don't like musicals much.

See what I mean?:D

I'll have Dorothy's basket.
I need a trug.

You will look Perfect! Stunning!

Just make sure you secrete the tazer underneath the cap properly :D
You don't want any suspicious bulges.

My youngest daughter has just about every Disney film ever made - all on video!! Don't think I'll tell her what you just said.

I have never actually seen the whole of Gone With the Wind as I have a very short attention span :D. I remember Spitting Image doing Ronald Reagan auditioning for the part of Rhett Butler - "Frankly my damn I don't give a dear".

Hi AJ

I first saw it at my local pub in 1982. They had a video projector and they used to put a film on every week. There were a lot of rumours this particular week that they had a pirate copy of ET, and me and my mates swore we wouldn't watch it, but we ended up sitting through the whole thing!
Saw it again later at the flicks though.

I think I'd have to have the flower in the pot. Mind you, I'd need ET to keep it alive - all plants seem to die in my flat.

Would you like to pick a film? :)
PS. Did you hear about Coll? Sad news :( :( ...

I've read several over the years, but the one I really value is 'The Complete Jack the Ripper' by Donald Rumbelow. Bought it when it first came out.

One of the best sites if you are interested is http://www.casebook.org/

Did not get to bed when I signed off last night.
Wandered in the lounge and flicked through the Discovery channels and found ... da da ...
SECRET HISTORY: The WHITECHAPEL MURDERS just starting on History +1.

How about... since there's a thread about it and therefore I know that AJ has seen it ...

JAWS

Bagsy the tooth that Hooper gets out of the hole in the boat and then drops.

Hi TB and AJ
Monty P and the Holy Grail

They were all a bit peasanty so not much in the way of souvenirs so will go for a sandal.

my first idea was very rude and based on a Roman's name :o

Complete change of scene, can I suggest
Dr. Zhivago

I haven't seen it.
Can't find it on IMDb either.

Wasn't Michael Caine in some film about an orphanage?

My youngest went to see a Spanish film and that was about an orphanage.
Is that the one?
