Movie and Book Recommendations?

I'm stumped and can't really think of some book and movies to ask for Christmas.

For movies I'm asking for Chicago, Australia, Moulin Rouge, Harry Potter, Titanic...stuff along those lines. Or just any movies you thought were good

For books, I Loveeeeeeeee the Harry Potter series, The House of Night Series, The Private Series, Kissed by an Angel, Sara Dessan...I like love stories, fantasy, girly books..

Recommendations and personal favs would be great!

For movies: Dirty Dancing, Grease, Footloose, Gone With the Wind, P.S I Love You, Atonement, The Notebook....
For books: If you like Sarah Dessen, you MUST read Deb Caletti. She's so perspective and I love her books! Umm... The Vampire Chronicles, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, the Percy Jackson books, kinda young but anything by Gail Carson Levine, The Princess Bride. Those are all great!

well for movies like the ones u like i recommend the notebook.....splendor in the grass....bridge to terabithia.....stepmom

and movies i like are 28 days later (zombie movie)....nacho libre.....epic movie(its an idiotic movie but i make fun of it with my cusns)

for books i like chicken soup and dear alice.....

The Guardians of Time trilogy by Marianne Curley
First book: The Named
Second book: The Dark
Third book: The Key

It is a fantasy which had adventure, romance, history, action, everything! It's about people who can go into the past. They do this to protect the past from the Goddess of Chaos, Lathenia. They are the 'Guardians of Time'.
 
Twilight Saga was a really good movie even tho im not a big fan of Twilight
went to see it with cousins since they said its good
