I AM BAAAACK!! :D Finally got my new laptop. YAY! So I am back in action. Saw Timeline the other day; never wanted to see it cuz everything is Paul Walker for me was like "Fast and the Furious with". I thought this would be Fast and the Furious in the past. LOL. But it was a fun movie, very cute.
Haven't seen much else; staying home hanging with my mom a lot lately. For those of you wondering, she is healing nicely now. The infection finally subsided and the cancer is completely gone. She is still in some pain, but it's fleeting.

LOL, yeah I watched Donnie Darko once and I didn't really get it. It was great though.

Today I watched The Princess Bride. Heh, one of my favorite movie.

LOL. I think just war in general, no particular one. Or maybe it's Iraq, I dunno. Gonna see if I can find it to rent.

Nah, it's pretty easy spotting the fakes. I won a ton of stuff. My favorite was a $6,000 home theatre system. It's pretty cool having a 62" big screen TV in my bedroom. My mother won a trip to England to see the Austin Powers II movie premiere in London that I entered her in since I wasn't 21 at the time. :pout:

Niffler, "The" war? Which war? We've had so many already, and we used to think WWII was "the" war. Never mind.

Hey, anybody here watch Eraserhead already? I really, really want to, but you see, I watch movies while eating dinner, and...

Haha Cool. And it's great to see you :)
Someone just reccommended to me The Gunner's Palace, so might check that out. About the war.

Hey, is anyone going into DC this weekend for the Peace Rally? I wish I lived in the states man, I'd SO go.

 you def should! :D

i cant wait for Harry Potter 5 and the Simpsons movie...

i might go see Transformers today...

You already beat me! I heard "Blades of Glory" is hilarious! Totally the kind of movie to watch with a crowd. :D

I hardly go to the theater for a comedy, though. Maybe I should try it again soon.

Depends on how you are storing them. I have a bookshelf and it's easy to alphabetize, but if you have one of those things with slots, there is no easy way to organize.
Another way would be by genre.
If you mostly buy new movies, then maybe you could order them by date they were made, then you could just thrown the new ones on the end... ? Just ideas.

Still not watching too many movies. :( Soon though, I hope.

 i know! sucks!

i just came back from seeing Blades of Glory

what a great audience! they went off :lmao:

Hey everyone I got a question

i got about 500ish dvd

Angie

Niffler - it's great to have you back, and what a fantastic icon!
*goes to update her NetFlix queue with some of the movies you've seen*

We're screwed! And so The Intolerable Wait for The DVD begins. :D

Now I hope I have the money to buy it when it does come out. Life is hard, ya'll! :goof:

I've been meaning to watch "The girl in the cafe" but I never have the time. I might have to tape it to assure I can watch it when I have some free time.

I have to watch Donnie Darko again. I have only watched it once and didn't get it.

Last night I watched a movie called The Mother. Well, I liked it because it was such a realistic portrait of family life. Not ALL family life, thank God, but a small percentage of unhappy families.

There was not a single likeable character in the movie. People that say Closer has the least likeable characters should try watching The Mother because for me, it won!

Everyone was severely flawed, selfish, cruel, etc, etc. You wanted to slap everyone and tell them to chill out! The ending was so unsatisfying because I actually wanted the movie to go on.

Saw Four Brothers last night. It was pretty entertaining. Not a great piece of art or a great movie by any stretch of the imagination but it was entertaining. I thought all the actors did a great job to have that chemistry and joking around that all brothers have.
That said, there were some serious plotholes, but hey, nobody is perfect and I was entertained pretty well.

Haven't bee watching a lot of movies lately, sorry. Taking care of mom and now I caught a cold, so I feel miserable and have headaches when I try to look at a tv. But I did catch Mortal Thoughts the other day with my Brucey. He was horrid in it. Not the acting, the acting was great on his part, but his character... I am glad he was killed. lol. Demi Moore did alright, but I couldn't get over how 80's it was :P
