I hate moving, you have to say your last goodbyes and all of that bullshit. One piece of advice to cheer you up...snow is only as fun as you make it. :D

p.s. awesome name!

My dad was in the service, so we moved around a lot. Until I was in my mid-teens, we never lived in one city longer than a year. Funnily enough, I ended up following that same pattern when I was on my own, until fairly recently.

One way to look at the new place is to treat it as an adventure. Everything is new - you get to explore the area, find new hangouts, get to know new people, and know that every joke you tell will be new to them. Even in the US, each state has a slightly different culture, so you'll be learning different viewpoints and ways of looking at things. That will definitely help open your perspective on things.

It's nice to have roots, and, in your case, you'll have the benefit of choices.

The hardest part of the move will be getting used to weather. I feel for your pain.

NW is soooo much better than South cali....seirously.....where are you near? Washington is a beautiful state, I bet there is a lot you can do....snowboarding, skiing, camping, hunting, fishing, all the fun stuff.

I had to move recently. From Ontario to Alberta. It was my first time ever moving. Prior to that, I had lived in the same house, in the same neighborhood, in the same city my entire life. I didn't get to say a real "goodbye" to half as many friends as I would have liked to.

And my new city is horrible. I've only made one friend in the 6 months I've been here. Theres not many people here I'd actually want to make friends with. When I first arrived, I was more optimistic; I tried to look at like a "new adventure", but after 6 months of this shit, I don't think its going to get any better.

And don't get me started on the snow.

ive tried exploring, but you can only get so far with only a driving permit and with a foot of snow. but i guess living here is -still- better than havig to live in canada (if anyones offended by that last part, im only joking... except when i talk to screwy. i hate you screwy.........)

So sorry fishsticks. I hate moving too. I am going to miss you. :( No more playing creepy stalker at Tabitha's house.

Moving on is a part of life, even if it does suck. I have moved so many times, I sympathize with you. every time we moved, I had to change schools. I have been to 13 different schools since Kindergarten.

Good luck meeting new people and all that.

Dear God, I used to live in Indiana. I feel sorry for you.

I fucking love living thirty minutes from New York City now.

NYC is like a sensory overload.

don't know where you are, but Seattle isn't so bad, we get nice summers here in Washington. We also have mediocre, yet overrated sports teams to keep you entertained. And best yet, the highest gas prices in the nation! Glad you don't drive yet?

Moving is horrible. Saying goodbye to those you love and then packing up getting to the new place unpacking, trying to deal with the wheather change, and not knowing anyone sucks.

I guess, It's just one of those things ya' need to deal with.
Sorry, dude.
