Move Vista boot files to Flash Drive?

Ok, I had a spare 8 gb usb flash drive lying around and I decided to do something I heard about but cannot seem to track down again. It involved moving a portion of vista (the part that the BIOS calls to start the OS) from my HDD to the Flash Drive so when I start my computer, vista loads from the flash Lightning fast and then everything e;se deals with the HDD. I am one of those loser-geek types that loves to mess with his computer so I am anxious to try it No matter how risky.....
 
If your asking how to do that, try inserting your flash drive, & opening the folder, then open the folder where your files are located you want to transfer, & just drag & drop them into your flash drive folder.
