Me and my boyfriend were kissing and my sharp tooth dug into my upper lip/cheek part. and now i have a wound, like a cut. ): i didn't apply anything to it, i just left it alone. it was always, since i got the wound, white. and it's still the same thing. it's still white, it hasn't changed much, and around the white area there is red around it. it doesn't really hurt, only when i eat or move my lip too drastically. here are my questions:
1) what would it look like if it were infected?
2) how long does it take for a wound inside the mouth to go away?
3) what does a mouth wound in general look like?
4) should i gargle my mouth with warm salt water? it won't infect it, if it already isn't?
and any other information would be nice as well please.
