motowheels carbon fiber mono street tail

I have the mono street tail section from motowheels. When I went to install the tail lights I noticed that there was no way to secure them in the fairing. I feel that i might HAVE to have the Carbon undertail for this to fit on the bike. I also noticed it does not have the slots for the stock undertail to slide in.... seems like i'll need to purchase the carbon under tail as well....


Am i Correct with this?
 
Well it looks like when Motowheels updated their website they lost a lot of info in their disruptions of their products.

It used to say that you needed the undetail but PM they to verify.

I just sent nick an email.... That seems to be the only other way it can work..... ohhh well just one more carbon piece..........

I am pretty sure that the undertail comes with the tail if you buy it from their site. I bought it from another forum member, I'm guessing the undertail got sold separate, and I was never informed it is a required piece..... but on the other side... I got it for a hell of a deal, and even with purchasing the undertail separate i still come out ahead. No complaints here!
