Has anybody tried flashing the z6tv with the cricket z6 monster file? i have the z6tv and wanted to try it but i wanted to make sure if anybody had tried or knows if its safe before i try it.

If I were you I wouldn't do it.

Honestly I don't know if it will work or not, but I'm assuming that it won't since the monster file for Cricket is a z6m.

But hey, the v3c monster file worked on the v3m so who knows.

Again, I don't think it would work though. You'd be better off just changing the settings in the phone to get WAP and MMS to work.

I've flashed plenty of Z6tv's with cricket monster file.
Put phone in bootloader mode by turning it off or removing battery 1st.
Then Press and Hold # and * on the keypad next insert USB Cable, phone's screen will turn blue.
Use RSD Lite, Load the VRZ_Z6TV_01.16.0CP_PRImm82931_MONSTER_04 file into RSD Lite and press start. NOW AT 2% PULL THE CABLE FROM THE PHONE
Let RSD FAIL Close it, reopen it, Load the cricket monster file and flash. LET IT COMPLETE phone should now have the full cricket monster on it.

Ummm Do you mean Code Group 2 ?
You let it build the image for flashing after that is 100% it will start flashing once that his 2% example started flashing, 1% ...... 2% Pull cable.

yeah that's what i meant... well cause it also does flashing ram loader and a few other things or whatever.. v'e only ever seen it flash cg2 no other ones that i'm aware of... or at least it doesn't refer to them as cg's

cool yea it worked. thanks a lot everybody. i did let the beginning run and unplugged it at 2% when its flashing code group 2 then just ran the cricket monster and that was it.

do you all think this method might work on the sprint motorola ve20 aka vegas? if we try flashing it with the cricket v9m monster? these phones seem very similar.

i don't think so... displays are different sizes and resolutions, also one is 18 bit lcd one is 16 bit lcd, and other general differences, this seems like i bad idea.
