can anyone that has this phone phone working with wap and mms post screenshots of your settings please. i have reentered these settings over and over with no sucess
I have posted the outgoing mms fix for the w755 at http://merabers.cdmagurus.com/forum/index.php?topic=116.0 (the second post)
Its not my solution, i dont remeraber where i got it and i have never used it. so i dont know if it works, but give it a try. Who knows, it might work.
Post back results if you try it please.
I have been able to get Internet and Picture messaging working on the W755 with the exception of sending Picture Messaging. I used RSD General v5.1.8 through the "Phone Provisioning" option on the left hand side. Once there you select and check the following:
Browser
Brew
Mobile IP
RTT Data
MMS Setting
Then using the attached saved config files select the open file option on each item above and load the appropriate file. Then make sure you change all of the [email protected] settings with your phone [email protected]
Once you have loaded the configuration and change the settings for your nuraber click write phone and you will see a box saying you will be writing the options you checked and just click ok and once that is done you will be able to load the browser and it will fail to load the page when you go in but you can then go to the home page or use the go to url option from the menu.
You can receive picture message but when you try to send a picture message it will go through the progress bar and actually say it fails then I kept getting a text message from cricket saying to use a full 10 digit nuraber even though I am. So if anyone figures that out report back here.
Hi Could you please tell me what file did you use for the specific phone? (w755) I have been looking for the cricket monster file for days, but can only find this:
CKT_V3c_09.02.00R_PRIii57147_MONSTER_01.shx
Will this work? If not, What is the proper file?
I have all the tools, but just need the proper file.
Thanks a lot
Bisgos
In my experience, CDMA workshop has limited functionality with Motorola phones, RSD CDMA general will read the SPC and allow you to change it. Select security groupings.
If the phone is a verizon prepaid you need to use the spc calculator on the new cdma workshop. If the phone is not verizon prepaid and is verizon the spc should be defaulted to 000000.Ive done a few w755 and in my experience they where prepaid and i used the calcullator on cdma ws
