Motorola v950 able to flash?

Hey, I have a Motorola v950 from sprint, is there any way to full flash this phone to make it work with cricket? it came out i think in NOV of 08
 
Didn't Verizon come out with this same model? You could probably Monster flash it to verizon and go from there if you dont want to get SPC, lol. I haven't searched for the firmware though, as I haven't had a chance to flash this phone yet.
 
verizon has a v750//firms are not compatible...you can make the wap work with rsd general, i didnt work too much with mms on it cause its a piece of crap phone already
 
ok, the dam phone won't connect thru any COM ports, it's all by usb...

Ok, i used Motorola RSD to load the PRL to the phone...now i have signal and everything works...now i need sms, mms, and internet...
 
OK...i need help..

YES, i've google just about anything that can be googled so i can get the phone to connect with a COM1 or COM2 port, but no luck jet...

1) How do i get the motorola v950 to connect with a COM1 or COM2 via usb? (because the other programs such as workshop/qpst/bitpin only work with a COM port)

2) I loaded the PRL through RSD CDMA General...and now voice works...(i know, it says roaming because i am in a AWS area, i am i the Wash. DC area and the v950 is not AWS)

3) anyone out there???

These are the Settings i use to get VOICE and SMS working ONLY.... :buddies:

Now i need MMS and WAP... :clapping:


1) Use RadioComm and set your SPC to all 0's (Seem 0055, lengh 0006)
if you get like 3x3x3x3x3x3x, change the x's to 0's

1a) Load a cricKet roaming PRL, using RSD CDMA General(i loaded 38515 PRL)

2) Input the following settings in the phone

User Name > Edit > (Type your 6-digit MSL code) > 

Username : (10-digit-phone#@mycricket.com)
SPI MN-HA: 1234
SPI MN-AAA: 1234
Mobile Home Address: 066.179.166.148
Pri Home Agent: 010.000.005.021
Sec Home Agent: 010.000.005.022
Rev Tunnel Pref: Off
AAA Passw: cricket
HA Passw: cricket

Browser > Edit > (Type your 6-digit MSL code) > 

For all ip's use: "172.029.223.007" (4 total, gateway 1 & gateway2)
and for all ports use: "8080"  (8 total, gateway 1 & gateway 2)

let the phone reset/restart, your almost there...

3) Call cricKet and ask them for you MDN(your phone #) and MIN(some other nuraber) Nurabers

4) Once you finished, turn on the phone and wait like 5-10 mins...and your done.

5) Now try to see if you can get MMS and WAP working before me, and if you do, post ti here.
 
I would but It's on sprint right now and I want to activate it on a different service provider. With the sprint firmware I can't find a way to manually program my phone nuraber into the phone. Everytime it goes into online activation.
 
Since we can't get the Monster for the v950. Will it brick the phone if I flashed it with a V750 monster. Please let me know. Thanks
