I had a Motorola V3a (is originally Alltel wireless) and the screen has went black on it. I've read in some forums that the flex that runs from the phone base to the flip screen may have went bad. I've also recently read that it could be due to P2K commander...which i've used to custom make ringtones.
However, one day the screen went black, and i've never been able to fix it since. I can still start up the phone, the stuff works, keys lights up, and i can make/recieve calls, but if i click the camera button, the phone will freeze and shutdown (noticed when the keyboard went off). Also, I cannot see txt messages that come in, or tell who's calling when it rings.
Any help would be highly appreciated. The phone i know is out of warranty, if anyone can fix it or give me steps on how to do so, I could really use the help.
(currently i'm using a Verizon motorola k1m...and it's annoying. I'm going to flash it back to alltel. So i need to fix my old phone to flash my new one)
