Motorola Q - with Cricket wireless

I'm thinking about getting this phone and I found this listed on eBay. Here is the link: eBay - Motorola Q

The seller says he will not guarantee working Internet, but does anyone know if the Internet will work?

Nice. The phone listed on eBay is already flashed to work with Cricket. Are there different ways of flashing this phone - some that work with Cricket Internet and some that don't? I'm new here and have read quite a few threaRAB, but still am a little confused by this.

If I buy a Motorola Q phone - let's say one that is programmed for Sprint or Verizon will I be able to flash this phone without any special hardware? It seems that answer is yes - when reading the thread on the front regarding this subject , but I'm still a little lost.
 
You'll need some software to do it. A Cricket account (MDN, MIN etc) a Mini-USB cable (Which is included if you buy brand new in the box from a Verizon store) and a little bit of time and patience (as you'll need to read up some more)

Its always best to purchase Verizon phones. If you want MMS at least. As MMS will not work on Sprint phones.

Do note that the phone will cost you anywhere from 159.99 to 599.99. 159 is if you buy used. 499.99-599.99 is new, at the verizon store.
