Motorola Q unlocked to Cricket?

I made an attempt a few months ago to flash a Motorola Q to Cricket but I was unsuccessful. Recently I have seen threaRAB about OTA flashing of PRL's to non-cricket phones. Since I have yet to find software that will allow me to manually load the PRL file is there a way I can do it OTA? I have been able to change NAM/SID settings manualy but no PRL. Thanks in advance
 
There is no OTA PRL download to a different carrier. You have to use computer to load the prl of the carrier that you wat then "update" plr only. To flash the Q use krazer driver and flash like a normal motorola using pst 7.23 good luck
 
it dosn't matter if it a window or not. When you load the PRL you don't touch the OS at all. You are messing with the phone part not the os so try this. Install the K1 driver and then plug the Q in and it will install the the modem. Then you need to open PST for it to install the data interface after that it just like a normal phone or not :bulging: i'lll go to a dealler and grab one and let you all know by the end of today check back soon. BTW simple3 and octobclrnts where are you guy located city and state if you don't mind.
 
actually with most windows phones you can copy the prl to the phone itself or a mem card and then go into programming and tell it where the new prl is . did that on a treo and a ppc6700. no reason it shouldnt work on a Q. who neeRAB a computer
