Motorola L6?

Hello, all!

I'm currently using the LG VX8100 with Verizon, and i've been thinking very hard about switching to Cingular lately due to constant $95+ bills every month.

The phone i'm most interested in is the Motorola L6. I'm sure everyone knows about this phone by now, but here are the features:

Included Features

* Digital camera with 4x zoom
* Video clip capture and playback
* Bluetooth? wireless capable
* Download ringtones and graphics
* MEdia Net Live Ticker - sports, stocks & more
* Instant messaging - AOL?, Yahoo!?, and ICQ?
* Multimedia and text messaging
* Ultra slim quad-band world phone
* Photo caller ID - See who is calling
* Precision cut metal keypad
* Internet browser
* Hands-free speakerphone
* Voice activated dialing

My biggest problem right now is figuring out what phones I can get with Cingular (candybars preferrably - i'm tired of flip phones) that have software to access/modify the phone's folders on OS X. I'm currently using Bitpim with my VX8100 via Bluetooth.

Is there any OS X/Mac software I can use to upload ringers/wallpapers onto the Motorola L6? I've been searching the forums for a couple hours now, and have come up with nothing.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

well i have a L7, got it from Cingular, unlocked it and now using it on tmobile. I love it, have no problems with it. as far as the Mac OS stuff,,im not sure, but if its ringtones would a Bluetooth dongle be good just to send em over to the phone??

Awesome that you're still using it, although the L7 is outside my price range for the moment .

As for Bluetooth, I have a dongle for it, but I don't know whether or not it will allow me to upload ringers as-is. With the VX8100, even after connecting to the Mac via Bluetooth I have to use BitPim to do anything.

I just want to make sure I can customize it, to be honest.

BTW, how are you liking TMobile in comparison to Cingular?

I hate to sound noobish, but what's the difference? Don't they all have GSM on Cingular's network?

Once again - forgive me for the n00b-comments, i'm still new to this though .

Awesome! Are there any sort of clauses like Amazon's where I can't change things about the account within a certain amount of time? I ask because I get a discount from the company I work for and would like to take advantage of that ASAP!

Thanks to everyone that replied for your help!
