Hi,
I recently purchased a Motorola Hint QA. I really like the phone especially since it's actually a 3G phone. However, I have one major problem: When I am in areas without 3G (the display says 1X instead of EV) the phone crashes and reboots every time it tries to connect to send/receive MMS or when I try to connect the browser or e-mail client. It's really bad when I am traveling and someone senRAB me a MMS. It renders the phone useless since the picture message gets sent over and over so the phone reboots constantly. It comes back up, reception starts, *boom* gone!
It will be hard to reproduce this when I take it in to the Cricket store since I have 3G connection there and everything works fine.
Has anyone else experienced this problem with this phone (or any other Circket phone for that matter)? It would make me feel better if this is a known problem and not only me experiencing it. I do not expect anyone to have a solution since this obviously has to do with how the network interacts with the firmware on the phone. But if someone has ideas on what I can do, please post them here!
