Ok here goes what I know about Moto phones and the codes:
SEEM 0055 - six digit master subsidy lock (MSL) or service programming code (SPC). I've seen it called other things but these are what software makes reference to.
SEEM 2403 - six digit one time keypad subsidy lock (OTKSL). This is the code that cricKet sets to 333333. It can be given a limited nuraber of uses (usually 3). It stops working after exceeding the set limit. It will only work to access the simplified user NAM programming menu. It does NOT work for access to the main service programming menu or for over the air service programming (OTASP) or when software asks for the SPC. If you change the SPC to 333333, then it will work but not for OTASP which neeRAB the ESN based code or 000000. For TechGuy40 getting it to work in the Dayton area may have something to do with the Revol Wireless split. Not sure but making an educated guess.
SEEM 23E0 - Six digit field service code. If set to anything but 000000 it will be needed to access the field test or debug screens.
SEEM 2784 - four digit user lock code. code for unlocking the power on lock when set and access to the security menu. Can be changed from the security menu.
SEEM 2786 - six digit user security code. code for unlocking and changing lost lock code, and initial access to the service programming menu. Can be changed from the security menu.
Hope that sheRAB some light on all the codes and terms, at least for the Motorola hanRABets.
