Stuck here. Not sure how/what happened.

flashing a Verizon V3M (esn version, not MEID version) over to CKT. Used the standard Cricket V3c monster that I use on the majority of the razrs I flash.

Failed at about 67%

No other monster/upgrade I have will make it past 98% at this point. I am constantly sent back into bootloader. IU have flashed and flashed no less than about 20-25 times already on this hanRABet

I have tried a special monster/package from m-files. Did not work

I have almost all the v3m and v3m RABT and carrier firmwars available

I have MFF and RSD LITE and all the software

Any ideas? I dont wanna have to buy this guy a new phone?

THe current bootloader version on the "somewhat bricked" hanRABet is: v0x00010B

Please help. Searched and tried everything I can think of. I still get bootloader screen, so I have hope. I have not gone to a blank screen yet.

Idk if this will help you any, you've probably already tried it but when I encounter this problem it's usually with a Sprint razr and it does the same exact thing. The only way I can get it to finally "go through" is to turn the phone on and let it get to that black screen and then put it in bootloader again and try flashing some more.

I hope that helps a little man. It sucks to have to pay for someone else's phone.

I agree with firestrom223. When I first flashed the v3m for sprint with the cricket monster it would get stuck every single time until I powered it up and let it boot all the way up and sit there for a few minutes, then I would flash it again and it worked everytime.

that just happen to me also, however i never use the V3c i always use the RABT one and i ran into a V3m that i was flashing it had a ESN not MEIDand it would get to 77% and it would shut off and reboot and it would be back in the Flash loader, i also tried all knowen V3m's Flashes and also all V3c Flashes *non java based ones* and i could not get it to go past 77% i had Amao help me but no luck i started thinking that maybe they swtiched out the mother bord and the phone was a MEID phone and i killed it, never the less the phone could be bad. on a side note, i alwasy say that you should use v3m flash and never use a v3c flash, it just keeps things nice and neat

yeah might of just been a bad one but for 2 differnt people to have the almost same problem if not the same problem is just kind of up there, i was Told that a V3m (ESN Phone) however something i read on HoFo and other sites has me thinking, that the newer VZW V3m's (ESN Phone,Not the MEID one) has a new Firmwear*sp* on there phones which will make it very hard if not impossible to flash to a differnt company, it was like 1.19.XX, maybe all flashers should start taking notes on what Soft the VZW V3m;s have and if anyone else kills one see if it had 1.19.XX on there, also i read that this new one is what they use on there ESN v3m;s and there MEID ones if thats the case even tho the phones have ESN on them the 1.19.xx might be a flash that is backwarRAB compatable just with VZW and when we try to flash it away its like trying to flash a MEID phone with a non MEID flash.

x.x i just hope this did not lose anyone any input on this would be great.
* i will try to find the links that talk about the ESN/MEID Multi Flash problem*

As far as the firmwares being hard to flash away from as cellkeeper mentioned, i can confirm this with at least the Sprint firmware. I managed to get it away from Sprint and on Cricket 1 time, then i foolishly flashed it back to Sprint and havent been able to get it off since, in fact one time it wouldnt even accept the Sprint firmware.

Check over at http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60054 someone quoted a old post thats no longer on hacktherazr.com's forums, but thats how i managed to get it done the first time. Took a few tries, i will admit, probably a better part of a hour messin around with it till it finally allowed me off sprint, but if you get it off, DONT put it back on for any reason lol.

ONE: make sure that you do not have a memory card in the phone when you are flashing a V3m..... I had the same issue before I found this out.

TWO: start the phone in bootloader and then flash it (*+#+PWR)

This should fix your problem. Let me know.

Cheers.

I have problems with some motorola's when I flash them. They have one thing in common: They are Sprint phones. So, what I do is load the monster file for Verizon first then load the cricket file. It works for me.

THe whole Bootloader thing and memory card thing i know even tho i have flashed some with the memory card and they still worked, the one i just worked on didnt have no memory card in it tho, and it was a VZW, i know the Sprint ones are hard to flash away and it takes a lot of times to flash it away and 99% of the times yeah there is no going back. the *+#+Power to get into bootloader yeah i know about that one however the phone would show the Motorola Startup logo then it would go white then go right into bootloader, i even tried pulling the battery out, putting it back in and doing the *+# thing to load it up manualy and i still get the 77%. Maybe the bord was bad, maybe it was something else, in the end the phone seems to be dead and i am taking notes now, but i think i might go out and buy a V3m and make sure it has the new flash on there and im going to try to flash it away and see if i get the same thing, if it dies then i will know what it was if it dose not then i guess the phone i was working on was just bad. but i find it hard to think that 2 people had the same problem lol but heck its the world im sure a lot of phones are being bricked as we speak lol XD

I have a Motorola V323i from Metro PCS and would like to flash it to Cricket.
Does anybody know where I can find a monster file for it?
