Motorola Droid ROM flashing

Just want to know if I would be able to flash custom ROMs on my Droid? It's fully flashed to cricket, running FW 2.0 with SPRecovery. I have a full backup on the phone right now, but I'm wondering if I'm able to flash custom roms on this phone. Thanks for any replies.

IMHO, unless you know how to re-full flash that phone again, I wouldn't do anything to it...

Thanks for the suggestion. Another question I may throw your way (or out there): Is there any way to get the Droid's EVDO to go Rev. A as opposed to staying on Rev. 0? Are there some settings I can play with?
