Motorola Droid or Nexus One

Planning on moving up from my cliq. I cant decide whether i should go with the droid or n1. As far as I see it the droids got a hardware keyboard, comes with a larger microsd card, a slightly bigger screen (54 extra pixels tall) and is easier to see in daylight where the n1 has double the ram, a better processor and will overall be a bit cheaper (but worse coverage). The one thing that's holding me back from going with the droid is that I am unsure whether or not it supports 720p video playback (which apperantly the n1 does because of the snapdragon process)

nexus one!!!!!
but here is a comparison video to help you decide http://www.gadget.pdamu.com/2010/02/20/best-android-phone-google-nexus-one-or-motorola-droid/

Here's another link that gives you the specs of all the android phones. But I would go with the Nexus too.

Multi-touch in browser and gallery, and the next one is supposed to allow for extra ram and fix the 3g problems that some are experiencing and also give a better battery life

Droid is Verizon only and Nexus One is currently T-Mobile only (until Spring- then it will be on Verizon as well).

I have the Droid and I love it; there are custom ROMs that give the Droid most of the Nexus One 2.1 functionality- but I am impatiently waiting until the Nexus One comes out on Verizon.

On another note, I will have a very well maintained (Zagg Shield, never dropped) Droid going up for sale around Spring time... (with two media docks and a car cradle).

On another note: there are rumors of the HTC Scorpion; basically the Nexus One with a 1.5GHz (possibly dual-core?) CPU running Android 2.2. Rumors also indicate WiMax, so if it is real it will probably be a Sprint device...

According to me Nexus one is best smartphone. It is powered by android 2.1 operating system.Android 2.1 feature includes :
1. Voice recognition for Virtual keyboard.
2. Pinch-to-Zoom functinality.
3. Google navigation Maps.
4. google Goggles Application.
5. Supports Music application.

^ but isn't the droid supposed to get 2.1 soon officially? I know the devs have ported the nexus 1 rom to the droid. I guess the main thing I want to ask is:

Does the superior processor and ram make a significant different as to give up a hardware keyboard, larger screen, and much better 3G coverage?

Also: in many reviews i heard the buttons on the N1 were positioned wrong, has that been fixed? And as for the HD video playback, is it possible on the droid, or is that a snapdragon feature?

the keys work fine on the Nexus one and yes snapdragon makes a big difference.. I've tried both and the G1. But love the Nexus One... it has the same size screen as Droid and looks better. Slightly better battery life.

I would get the N1 cuz the better technology. Flash will come to Nexus One cuz of snapdragon. I doubt others will get it..

Nexus One. Or the HTC desire are my only choices..

i have to say n1. i don't have either, but i guess i'll chip in my opinion.

a lot of my verizon friends brag about better coverage, but the only time i didn't have any service was when the tmobile tower near my house totally collapsed. otherwise, tmobile is fine (for me at least; hopefully it's the same with you). being gsm, tmobile provides more phones. verizon phones are so limited, so if you were to have to change, you'd have to go through a lot more hassle. lastly, since you already have a cliq, that means you're on tmobile and might as well stick with it unless you've had problems with them.

Alright i have decided to go with the nexus, but am having trouble unloading my cliq. Posted on craigslist but nothin and all those "we buy ur electronics" websites are ripoffs. The price of these things seems to be skydiving. Where would.the best place to sell one
