Motorola Droid or iphone?

I have had the iphone first generation, LOVED it. I have verizon but my contract will be up soon, Its up to me to determine whether I make the switch to AT&T. If not ill sign a 2 year contract and stick with Verizon and get the Droid, However, I have heard that the iphone will be coming in the summer which will be before my contract is up. either way by October I have to make a decision. I basically want opinions and whatnot, switching to AT&T will be saving me about 20-30 dollars a month. . . that doesn't make a huge difference to me. Let me know your opinions. Please don't be rude or anything.
let me know whether to switch or stay with verizon. not just iphone or droid. (:
