Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

This is great! Issue though, I'm on the droid X, as far as I can tell, everything when it comes to NV items and the process of getting the phone on a different carrier is exactly the same, will the Droid's radio work on a Droid X? Awhh man.

I'm on Alltel, DID the PRL change, flashed the NV items to @alltel.net, set my UM/AN PPP and Ha authentication, 1X works perfect along with everything else, NO 3G... like everyone else thats tried alltel. I've activated a verizon eris and a palm pre on alltel with full 3G with zero issues. What the heck?

Steve500 please review the posted rules. This is thread hijacking as this thread does not pertain to the Droid X or alltel. Please post alltel questions/problems in the appropriate alltel forum.

An update.zip for the radio (C_01.07.00R) is being created by a third party, but if you have the capability, go for it (to anyone). PM me if you manage to get it to work, I can't figure out for the life of me how to dump the radio.img.

@whiterabbit
Thank you for updating the site!

I followed the tutorial to the T and when i finished i didn't have internet therefore of course mms didn't work.
I only had CDMA Workshop 2.7 so i couldn't edit the EVDO tab.
So under settings/network it said "Disconnected"

Ended up opening QPST and in the PPP settings the cricket password was missing. I added it to both tabs and rebooted.
Everything works 100%. Sort of a battery hog though. I'm off to do some battery tweaks.

Thaks for everyone's help!

If anyone wants to try out a test flash of just the unlocked radio, PM me.

Edited to make it sound less scary. It is just the original sbf with everything removed except for the radio. You should be able to flash it on top of any rom without losing anything. If it doesn't work, be prepared to flash a monster file though. No guarantees.

Well some people have downloaded the unlocked radio sbf, but so far I haven't got any feedback on it.

EDIT: Didn't work, and I don't have an extra droid to keep flashing to test this with.

@whiterabbitorg I flashed the sbf from Joe Texaco, and apparently it changes the address and port for diagnostics mode, so i cannot connect with HW Virtual Serial Port, i'll try to find the new ones and post here with my findings.

If my sbf works, you should be able to flash a Verizon sbf first, then my radio sbf, and be able to connect with QPST still since only the radio has changed.

Also if you need to upgrade back to 2.2 after flashing a Verizon sbf, I have the update files on my web site, along with patches to them to keep root access.

I reinstalled the drivers and the ip and the port is the same, my bad.

I can confirm that with Joe Texaco's sbf, the M.IP profiles do not get rewritten, however i still can't get internet on my droid. I'll go tomorrow to my service provider to check that everything is in order with my data plan.

And whiterabbit, i'll try on a second droid still with stock verizon radio using your radio only sbf, and i'll tell you how it went tomorrow.

Thanks a lot to both whiterabbit and Joe Texaco for these releases.

C_01.07.00R is definitely what we have been looking for for a long time. I'm just glad I came across the Cellular South SBF. Thanks to eljorge for testing!

please help, i cant get into diag mode, i searched and searched for hours, i held down T, with phone off, inserted USB cable but the phone still boots up normally, its a common problem any suggestions?
