So far I've gotten to the point of the Smoked Glass Rom, then once I'm through with installing the apps/options I want, I reboot, then turn off the phone.. then hold down 't' on the keypad while powering up(which doesn't seem to do anything other than power on the phone regularly..so if it's supposed to show something on the phone differently, it's not).. then I plug the phone up and it doesn't do the mount/unmount option anymore at the top.. while I'm in the cdma ws 2.7, and try to send the spc 000000, it says "failed.. phone does not answer".. I don't know if it has something to do with the mount/unmount option not working since I did the SmokedGlass Rom step but I definitely need some help.. so please don't be too "technical" with your words and do reply in layman's terms haha.
 
Woof, the IP address is listed twice in autostart.sh. You have to change it to the new IP in both locations otherwise the phone becomes very sluggish and almost unusable. The solution does work, as I've done it following those exact steps on 4 moto droids today.

Well, reading that this has been done on 2.7, I shouldn't have to upgrade should I? I'm also wondering, since I just noticed this, if my problem revolves around the LAN status saying "error" on the HW VSP..
 
I updated it in the u2nl.zip on my site.

No. You don't need u2nl and autostart, they can only screw things up for you. They force all of your connections through a proxy and you don't need to use a proxy with Alltel.
 
Also.. I went to go sign up for Cricket yesterday.. Had not yet flashed the Droid, but have gone through the steps today.. was told yesterday they couldn't sign me up until I flashed my phone but there are a lot of steps I'm at right now that involve needing the MIN/MDN numbers, etc.. if I'm at the point of inputting those numbers, am I past the point of being able to go there and sign up and get a phone number for it now and then just finish the rest of the steps afterwards? That probably came out really confusing but hopefully one of you know what I mean.
 
All the Droid's that I have flashed in the past, and one today, the Internet went down last night and not working today in Phoenix Market. Anyone know why?
 
Okay, so I've not fully finished all the steps mentioned but I've gotten to where I can call 611 and there's a cricket "welcome" on the phone call.. so is this enough to be able to go in the store and sign up for cricket and use this for calls and texts as a partial flash?
