Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

Here's how it typically works. You flash the cricket PRL and then you should be able to dial *611 and hear, "Welcome to Cricket." From there you can activate the service over the phone or take it to a Cricket store and tell them it's already flashed. The PRL and ##Program (##7764726) menus make talk and text work on Cricket. For MMS and 3G Internet you need to change the NV Items, APNs, and M.IP/PPP passwords. After you get a Cricket account you'll need your MIN and MDN. The MDN is your phone number. This information goes under the User Activation settings of the ##Program Menu.

Having a problem with the phone.....
I followed all steps.. and i managed to get as far as
being able to send and receive calls
I can receive texts but not send nor does the internet.
At first i used the PRL 38515 I received signal and 1X icon ...i read through the posts
that PRL 6399 would be a better try so i gave that a go....

Phone turns on i receive signal and 3G icon
but i still cannot send texts nor does my internet work..

i read around that i might have to call cricket to reset or provision my account or something?
would that help or is there something i can do phone wise that would be better?

By the way thank you for making this guide....any help is appreciated...

wouldn't want to revert back to AT&T nd used my Iphone again cause i enjoy this phone

Thanks

There is a new binary in u2nl.zip named u2nl-test. It was compiled using the patch from balazer, and should cause u2nl processes to die off as soon as they aren't needed. Anyone concerned about the number of u2nl processes they see in ps should give it a try and report back.

If it works good for everyone, it will become the default.

u2nl-test is working perfectly on my EVO with Cricket, and does appear to be killing unneeded u2nl processes. Thanks much !! You are greatly appreciated!!
