I am having the same issue with laggy 3G. I am on the new (i think) nationwide 4399prl in cincinnati. I seem to be having trouble with wifi tethering also....I can connect but error on dl web pages. It seems like it effects the 3g when switching off tether also b/c I get connectivity errors until reboot although 3g is still active. Apps and market ok on 3g and wifi, 3g just slooooowwwww! So close.

Thanks to all that contributed to this great solution and all the help!

Nothing yet on froyo for Droid. When it does come out, there should be no problem with talk/text right off the bat. We will need to wait for it to be rooted for the whole shebang, unfortunately. Hopefully that won't take too long.

internet and market works but they stop after a few minutes, I reboot the phone and start working again...anybody knows what should I have to do to fix this???...Thx for your help

I dont know whats stopping your connection, but you can always re-execute the autostart.sh in /data/opt/ and get your connection back without a reboot, just use rootexplorer.

I updated to the Froyo but I cant seem to connect to QPST. I get the "phone failed to respond message" I also get adb remount failed when I try to push commands through the phone. Any suggestions from those who already got 3G and MMS working on the Moto Droid on Cricket? Thanks!

I flashed to 2.2 on SP. I have SuperUser Root access... but it won't let me push adb commands as well. Nothing happens when I re-execute Autostart.sh from Root Explorer. Back to Bugless Beast I go.
