Motorola Cliq problem! :(?

When i slide out the qwerty keyboard on my phone the screen suddenly goes crazy and looks like a kaleidoscope of whatever screen is present, and sometimes the screen will not turn on at all. the three buttons at the bottom will light up like the screen should be on but it is not. I have tried leaving it off all night but that has not helped. There is no water damage to the phone or any bad drops. Any advice? -Ciara
