Motorol Droid X is a horrible product! Easily the worst money I have every spent!

I can't stand my Motorola Droid X. It does not respond to my touch. A simple phone call often takes tens of minutes to make, I often miss calls because it will not answer. It is simply the worst piece of technology I have invested my hard earned money in. I have replaced in once, in an effort to see if I had a lemon. I don't believe my phone is a lemon but rather the product really does not work well. It may be the google contact program. I have a large amounts of contacts and it just does not respond well, but regardless, my sales person surely did not advice me against it. I am so sick of talking to Verizon sales people about this piece of junk, I decide to vent on this list. Can someone help make this phone work better or should I cut my loses and purchase another Blackberry? ????????

Actually, tens of minutes is not true. I have been trying to make a phone call to a contact since 3:00 central it is now 3:45. I touch the phone and wait, I touch it again and it doesn't respond to my request but does something else. I touch in for the twentieth time and now it is 3:45. The phone sucks so bad that I was able to join this group and post multiple times while fricken waiting for the piece of garbage to respond... mostly incorrectly, it does not respond to my requests but does other crap I am not asking it to do. I truly hate this telephone.

have you tried wiping your phone ( factory data reset ) normally if all the hardware is intact its usually a software option, i would recommend re-flashing the official rom software ( its out there) or to really fix all your problems ( root ), i know this is not a solution for a person who wants a phone to just work, u should still be under warranty if u want to get another replacement, the x is actually a great device its sad to hear ur having problems man...

I have a moto (not droid x), had problems with screen lag & freeze, updated to newer firmware & is fixed. It's not always hardware problem, I think there will always be minor bugs in all these smartphones as they're trying to cram so much functionality into them. But if you are really suffering with a bug that is hindering your operation then yeah first I would try the factory reset or update to newer firmware.

I just came from BB had enough of the 3 minute reboots for no reason.
