motorcylce help-honda rebel 250 with 300 miles?

i am buying my first morocycle. and i have looked at a few, but the one i liked te most is a 06 honda rebel 250. with 300 miles would it be a good bike for beginners?
 
Absolutely! Excellent beginner bike!
If you haven't already, take a look at the Suzuki Boulevard S40 ( called Savage before 2005 model year). This bike is not overly powerful but will likely not outgrow it as fast as the Rebel.
 
A rebel with only 300..... you're getting a bike that isn't even close to being broke in. Unless its been beat on real hard (you would notice) you will get great service out of it.
