nope but I think you and the AMA missed the whole first line which is what the entire flier is about:
NO PARKING ON MAIN STREET
That part means NO CARS as well as the No motorcycles. They aren't saying no motorcycles in the town just no motorycles parked on main street.
The No Motorcycles part is one of the benefits that they are promoting along with better traffic, easier snow removal, more room for street sweepers. The no Motorcycles, no unsightly motorcyclists part probably has to do with a bar or coffee shop that's a motorcycle hangout on main street.
Seriously does the AMA and others really think that this flier bans motorcycles the Whole thing is about banning parking of any kind on main street ( Food for Thought... No Parking on Main Street) the other points in the list are all bullet points supporting the ban on PARKING on main street. They don't want cars either, nearly every point on the list points out the benefits of having no CARS parked on the road. No parallel parking, no getting in and out of cars, better visibility, no delivery trucks.
The only thing that they want to ban is Parking on Main Street.
