I clean hole motorcycle and spokes whit distilled water on pressure washer if is dirt (wash and lived to dry).
If is not dirt you need polisher.
PS. use dish soap

Auto parts stores sell "wire wheel cleaner".
Spray it on, let it sit, hose it off.

there is a brush designed to fit in between them. you can get it at most MC shops and some auto parts stores.

easiest way ive found is one of the spongy polishing balls you can buy at any major parts store. pop it on any cordless drill and put some mothers aluminum polish and go to town! this works great on my metric cruiser and it takes minutes instead of hours.
