Hello, and thanks for checkin out my question.
I just got a Yamaha YZF600R, it had a little over 5000 miles on it. I like it, but I'm a big guy, and a 600cc really isnt doing it for me. So I looked into trading my bike in for a little bit bigger of a bike. Needless to say I found a bike, its a 2005 Kawasaki ZX10 Ninja. The ninja is in prestine condition, but it too has a littl over 5k miles on it. This is my dilemma / question: how much is the ninja REALLY worth. I'm not asking because I dont like it or anything like that, I'm asking because I kelly blue booked the Kawasaki, and it's value as a used motorcycle in excellent condition with under 5k miles is $4735. They are charging a little over $7,500 for it. So, what is the actual value???..

I cant stand Motorcycle salesmen, I think they're worse than car salesmen. I actually almost bought this bike the day I got my yamaha, I offered 6k or somthing and he said "uh oh, hmmm, I dont know, see I already dumped a lot of money into this bike already"... What dose that mean, seriously, what kind of money could he have dumped into the bike to justify such a high price, new rims, tires, brakes, transmission?

Anyways, my questions are: what is the real value of this kawasaki given all the information, am I wrong about its worth? And the other questions is: what can I say to a motorcycle dealer so that he wont lie to me or play anymore games?

Thanks for checking out my question!
