Motorazr v3m Music Problem

I recently bought a MicroSD card for my V3m RAZR. I tried to put music onto it, first in MP3 form. That didn't work, so I looked on the Internet and saw it needed to be in WMA.

So I downloaded a file converter, and converted the music. Now it's showing up in my phone, but when I hit play, it seems like it would play, but no sound is coming out. Yes, the volume's all the way up, I even tried to play a ringtone, and it worked.

Any solutions?
 
hmm... i wonder if the conversion worked right? can you play it on your computer okay? volume level is not dropped?

something I used to do to convert is this:
burn mp3s to disc as an audio cd
turn around a re rip that cd to WMA with windows media player

I did that until I got the soundblaster audigy se sound card from Creative Labs which came bundled with Creative MediaSouce 5 player/organizer. That application has the ability to convert mp3 to wma. you should be able to download and install that for free from the creative labs website and try that to convert your files. It worked fine for me that way.

Just go to their website, click support link, click soundblaster, click soundblaster audigy SE, scroll down to see the application in the list of downloads.
