The only trouble you will have with this is finding a good 2.7L V6. They all have the same issue, which is oil sludge buildup. Anyway, try through a good salvage yard that has a nationwide database. Find one with low miles if possible.

Best of luck.

I need a new car and i have bad credit but a good job so i can't just go buy a new one. However I have a 2001 sebring lxi in my driveway with a blown motor that was given to me for free so im not against throwing some money into it. It has the 2.7 v6 that is famous for being trash. So if im going to fix it and make it a daily driver id like something more reliable. The car has an auto transmission and Im looking for the easiest motor swap possible. Please help. Also, if you have a link to a site with detailed instructions on what i will need it would be appreciated. Note: I am not a car expert but and completely capable of doing a motor swap. THANK YOU.
I DONT WANT TO REPLACE WITH ANOTHER 2.7 CHRYSLER MOTOR. WHAT I HAVE IN MIND IS THE 3.0 V6
