MOTOKRZR K1m or VX8600 ??

Time for a new phone from Verizon.
MOTOKRZR K1m or VX8600, they are both virtually the same feature wise.
But I hear that the MOTOKRZR K1m has slow loading menus, maybe fixed with a software update soon.

Good speakerphone, strong vibration, lighted keypad and ability to interact with Windows XP computer(for transfer of #'s and songs) are the most important features to me.

Real tough decision here.
Any positive input would be appreciated.

Slow loading menus are something practically all Motorola phones suffer from. You really just have to learn to deal with it. The K1 is a drastic improvement over previous phones though from Motorola.

My K1 has a very strong vibration but like all of my previous phones it will probably weaken over time.

I know the 8600 can do this, but given the external music controls on the K1m I would assume it can do that also. The 8600 seems to be a pretty all around good phone. My good friend has one and I use it quite a bit. It gets pretty good reception (though not as good as my e815, which could translate to great reception on the K1m, I don't know I have never used one) and sound quality is very good. The keypad is completely flat so it is hard to dial without looking, and the side keys are next to the screen instead of the keypad. The music quality out of the built in speakers is fairly loud, but not great. Good luck.
