Hey guys, looking for a smartphone. Leaning towards the Q. I kno the 700p, performance wise, is better. I am aware that they run on different systems. Just wondering what I would be missing out on if I get the Q instead of the 700p. Need the phone for business. Size and price do not matter. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I do not own a 700p(YET), but I've had the 650 since it came out & I've also had a windows mobile phone, so I feel qualified to advise you. I would definitely take the 700p. Why? Palm os is faster than WM even with a slower processor, it is more versatile, more stable, less bloated, and there are like INFINITY more apps for Palm OS, many of them free. Windows mobile has the familiarity of windows, but also all the problems. It locks up, is achingly slow(I would actually count to 3 or 4 before the start menu would drop down on the phone I had), crashes constantly, and has all sorts of odd glitches. In the 3 weeks that I had my WM phone, I had to hard reset like 4 or 5 times b/c of mysterious glitches. You would be missing out on a friggin' great phone if you get the Q.

When you say business, what kind of business? I haven't used a Treo but the Moto Q would likely have the best support for synchronization with MS Exchange and would give you the MS Terminal Services client. The latter is really only of use to IT folk.
