so i just got the latest version of moto phone tools. i noticed one thing i could not use, the multimedia studio. there is no function at all for this feature. anyone know why?

ok. so what do i need to do to do this? sorry im new to the seem edit stuff.
ok. i have spent hours searching on various sites for what i need. i have all the software i need to make seem edits and have everything in working order. i cannot for the life of me find that one seem edit to enable obex transfer on the moto L7c. anyone help out? thx in advance.

well it's great that you got it to work but would you mind detailing how you did that and what progs you used? I have this same issue... thanks.

sorry about the delay, just got back from a trip. here ya go...
1st, make sure you have all the correct drivers. you can do a search for them or pm me.
2nd, i used PST phone programer and p2k seem editor in conjunction with each other. these are used to abvously get into the phones files. i had to make sure the correct seem edit (as stated above) was enabled for OBEX. it must be checked for PC to phone and vise versa to transfer files.
3rd, open MPT with phone connected to pc.
-click menu.
-click setup, then general setup.
-click communications tab. make sure exclusive is unchecked. click next.
-click change modem. highlight moto usb modem. click next.
-make sure the auto detect driver box is check marked. click next.
-highlight moto CDMA and highlight model (L7c-sprint model allows multimedia). click next and or finish.
done.
this setup will allow you to use sinc, phonebook, calander, multimedia studio, and internet connection in MPT.

Is your phone still detected by Windows, shows Motorola USB Modem listed in device manager? If so right click the listing and select properties, click the diagnostics tab, then click the query modem button. It should show success and other command responces in the window if all is well. If not it will give an error msg box. Try plugging the cable into a different USB port on the computer. That sometimes clears up connection problems.
