Picked it up today, the game is

Lots of people on GameFAQs bitching about frame rate issues and screen tearing but I haven't experienced ANY screen tearing, and only a few framerate issues. I just played for almost 5 hours without even realizing it. Beat the career on Rookie (way too easy) then played online. Online Extreme mode is definitely fun. I kept getting first place, probably because I was used to the more simulation oriented physics of the regular mode

Game is great so far though. I may actually play this one for more than a day

Game is definitely cool. If you've played the XBOX versions, you should feel right at home. I like how you can choose between the 05 and 06 rosters.

I also like how the collisions arent as plentiful in this game. In MotoGP 3 for xbox, if another rider rode close to you, you were almost guaranteed to crash. Here, that's not the case.

Biggest gripe is the load times. Holy shit, do they feel long. I also kinda miss the videos.

I beat pro mode easily last night, and started champion mode this morning. So far, not that hard, but then again I put in 23+ seasons in GP 3.

I beat the GP on rookie and 600 on rookie, then started Pro Pro seems pretty easy but Champion seemed hard when I tried it. I didn't really play the older series but i'm winning a lot of races online in Extreme mode (which doesn't really mean much)

If you like racing I would say so. Maybe rent it first though. Honestly I used to ride in real life and occasionally watched Moto GP but that's about it. I haven't turned it on this year and haven't owned a bike in over a year and still enjoy it. I still love bikes though, so that could play a role in me liking the game
