Moto 815 vs LG vx8300

So, I am on Verizon and am at the 2-year point to upgrade my phones. I have researched and am deciding between the Moto 815 or LG vs8300.

The 815 is an older phone, but well proven and has many "mods" documented.

The LG is a newer phone with much the same "stock" features.

Any feedback from 815 or vx8300 users?
 
As far as the e815 being more proven then the vx8300, that is not a huge advantage as the vx8300 is just an upgrade of the vx8100 which was a very good phone. With the 8300 you get external mp3 controls, and it is also vz navigator compatible...the e815 is not.
