Motivation for exercising at home in the evening?

I recently started a new job and am really trying to find a way to integrate working out. Normally I like to go midmorning, but that's not possible any more with the job.

So I'm trying to workout at night when I come home. Any tips for staying motivated and working out? Right now I'm cutting myself some slack because I'm still training and everything is very new to me, making myself pretty mentally tired at the end of the day. I just want to curl up with a good book or zone out on the computer for the rest of the night.

But I don't want this to stay this way forever, as I want to stay in shape and healthy. So, what are tips for working out after work?
