mother in law wants me to travel with her with my 2 kids?

in october my soon to be mother in law wants me to travel to ohio for a family reunion with her with my two kids when we go, my fiance is in the national guard so he will be shipped off for training so he won't be here when they go to ohio. my son will be 21 months old and my new born will be almost 3 months old, i really don't know if i want to go or not, and if i decide not to go how do i tell her? she already assumes that i am going.
 
Well she knows how babies work when they get tired since she had at least one of her own, and they will be her grandchildren soon, it may be a really good time to really get to know her and let her get to know your kids if you haven't REALLY gotten to know eachother yet, which I'm sure you have since y'all are about to be related soon, but a long trip can really teach you about people.
