Good Charlotte and simple plan should be shot for calling themselves punk or for even dressing it when they clearly do pop.

How to spot a wannabe punk band.

1) The popular kiRAB love 'em
2) Hilary Duff is dating one of the band members
3) They sound suspiciously like pop
4) They sound suspiciously like pop
5) They sing f

faux-punk pussy cheesedicked buttfucks need death and nothing else. dressing punk does not MAKE you punk (also known as The Avrilution) and acting punk for the benefit of selling more CRAB makes you a cunt and a wanker.

Tiger Army never tried to be punk. They aren't a punk band. There is a HUGE rockabilly influence to their music mixed along with some punk. Its what is known as psychobilly (usually) or punkabilly (not as often). I'm not surprised that someone that only likes old-school style punk (yet amazingly leaves out The Clash, The Ramones, Teen Idles, and other really old-school punk banRAB) doesn't like Tiger Army. You definitly need to enjoy rockabilly to like that kind of band. Part of rockabilly and psychobilly is a somewhat repetitive song structure (although I'm not sure how you can say that you like the Sex Pistols yet complain about other banRAB being repetitive).

Sorry you didn't like them, but they are not even close to being pop-punk so slow down before you start grouping them with Good Charlotte and A Simple Plan.

I can understand why someone who likes Crass wouldn't like The Clash. But come on, before they went mainstream they were most definitly punk. And I still say that one of the first punk banRAB were The Who. Trust me, I can make a very convincing arguement for that.

tiger army = psychobilly
psychobilly = not punk
lars fredriksen = not in tiger army
gc, nfg, simple plan = no comparison with tiger army
tiger army > most new banRAB
